DAY trips rock my socks. 

Starting in the early A.M., 
we cruised over to Toppenish on the Yakama Indian reservation- 
so we could visit the yakama nation museum. 

fierce? :)

It was so fun and fascinating, but we weren't allowed to take pictures inside the museum,

of course. Just in the gift shop. 

 

Our family comes from the Yakama tribe, so it was wonderful that most of us could go together. 

Afterward we strolled the streets of Leavenworth. which is a mock Bavarian city. 

German butts.

On the way home we stopped at an orchard, and at our Dad's favorite candy store.

It was straight up: a really good time.

I love to color!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it I love it I love it. Thankfully the children I hang out with on a regular basis love it also. speaking of coloring... today I went with my old lady friend, Patty to her artist guild group. It's a collection of army veterans who also went to art school, old ladies with lipstick, sunset painters, mccafe coffee drinkers, and eclectic dudes who wear shearling coats, and flip flops at the same time. They exchange artist dialogue and do periodic grown up field trips to the SAM  in their senior citizen buses. They referred to me as "young blood." So there you have it.

I'm excited about my family day-trip to apple picking eastern parts of the state. 
But monday is pretty good too. 
I found a jacket the same color as your yellow highlighter, 
and a dress the same color as your bubblicious bubblegum.
which is nice, and cool, and stuff. 


p.s. ben & jerry's creme brulee ice cream is foot stomping delicious. 
Just found out about 30 minutes ago.
Maybe if you don't have it in your freezer, 
you should make a special trip to the grocery store.
