Fireworks in the mountains

We considered the city.
But the mountain people won our favor. 
And let me tell you...there was a boatload of lumberjacks and firemen and families with tents, and thermoses allllll around. Like a secret club.
It was remarkable. 

Also beautiful, and lovely, and all that.  

After-wards we roasted mallows.
