'people carry roses make promises by the hours my love she laughs like the flowers'

T-shirt necklaces are so fun to make. Got the bright idea for the materials for this one from my sister Sarah. She had an extra mulit-colored rug from the dollar store lying around, and it was made up of lots of bright strips of fabric. So we massacred it. And this happened.

a little crazy heart for your crazy heart if youre crazy heart watching crazy heart with a crazy heart

4.years.old.

Im this kid's nanny.
He wants to be an art teacher when he grows up.
He requests salt and pepper on his eggs.
He only likes rock-star music.
He bears his name proudly, as you can see.
Today he was chatting with me about serving trays. He saw one on the table & asked me if you had to hold them with one hand. I said "some people do, yes. Where did you learn that?" He said "me saw it on WHO'S THE BOSS."

provocative panda's

YIKES. I almost have nothing else to say. I have never in all my days met such a host of bears.
Saw these guys at goodwill yesterday. When I saw them I didn't just think: "my look at all those freaky-deaky panda's." I thought "What kind of therapy did the previous owner have to go through in order to finally rid themselves of all things panda." also I thought "why.    why why why why why." I feel like there was an intervention of sorts. Like, maybe  'so & so' hid these under their bed for years, and had a secret addiction. You can't have this many panda's. It's not allowed. Nope. So then, a small support group formed and members of the community pitched in-and now  'so & so' is in a rehabilitation clinic.  Obviously. Clearly, that's what happened. Clearly.

the rhythm of the sound of you

I've been housed at the Phoenix Inn for the week because I'm in OR for this. These are some little bites from my evening down time. A little swimming pool action, (hence, my post swim face) a little boggle & popcorn action, & a little 'folly 795' pink polish action.

I also ate confetti cake ice cream today. Dare you to do it too. But, I won't dare you to eat safeway grocery store sushi, 'cause I did that too, and it was less than delightful. But, for reals, a mini trip is always a pleasure & not just because I'm a travel-er type. It's just always great to get perspective on things and to see any kind of creative revolution happening in people or in an area. It helps your life make sense.

Hope you're all having a discovery-filled week!

Redding continued.

This trip was very poorly documented, but...here's some slices of the rest of it. We celebrated Amy's birthday on one day, as affectionately displayed by the party hats and a mini bubble session and a hula hoop contest (not pictured). Lots of family posts lately. Um, I really love my family. And I will continue to share that with the worldwideweb when we have celebrations. Dear worldwideweb: you should celebrate things with your family. It helps your life.

Here's some of my soundtrack from the road. eesh.  (and if you're one of those types that don't make mixes, or play-lists, or even listen to music in the car...then you need to go to road-trip school) :
